We are very excited to be back at the fair this year for our 10-day blacksmithing demo! We are looking for volunteers who would like to come out and forge with us and educate the public about the craft of blacksmithing. We spend a lot of time forging nails to give away to kids, so it’s a great time to practice the basics and just have fun with your fellow smiths. We would like to have 3 or 4 people at the demo each day, so if you want to come help out please EMAIL us with your availability and experience level, and we will coordinate a schedule with all volunteers.

11 AM to 5 PM, Friday, Sept 9
10 AM to 5 PM, Saturday, Sept 10
10 AM to 5 PM, Sunday, Sept 11
11 AM to 5 PM, Monday, Sept 12
11 AM to 5 PM, Tuesday, Sept 13
11 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday, Sept 14
11 AM to 5 PM, Thursday, Sept 15
11 AM to 5 PM, Friday, Sept 16
10 AM to 5 PM, Saturday, Sept 17
10 AM to 5 PM, Sunday, Sept 18

We would like to schedule volunteers for full shifts if possible since we have a limited number of comp tickets and parking passes, but please note if you are available for a partial shift and we will work everyone in as best as we can. Volunteering does not guarantee you a spot, but we hope we will have room for everyone who wants to participate. Thank you!
